About the Role

> Degree in business, marketing, electronics, or related field + a minimum of 10 years related working experience.
> Strong knowledge and understanding of the electronic industry, including emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape, is essential. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and electronic business models is also beneficial.
> Sound experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the electronic industry. Sound experience in analyzing market data, assessing customer needs, and developing innovative strategies to drive growth and expand the company's electronic business.
> Strategic, strong team leadership, and experienced in collaborating with cross-functional departments.
> Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills are necessary for establishing partnerships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term business relationships.
> Extensive experience in international business development and managing cross-border operations.

Requirements

  • Reporting to the senior management, the incumbent will be accountable for developing the business and accomplishing the agreed financial targets by exploring, identifying, and pursuing new business opportunities, formulating and executing business development strategies, and building/engaging strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to achieve the organization's growth objectives.

  • Formulating and implementing the Company’s business development strategy in alignment with the overall goals and objectives.

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape. Defining target markets and formulating strategies to penetrate and expand into new markets.

  • Driving revenue growth and increasing the market share by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, formulating sales strategies, and leading negotiations with potential clients or partners to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.

  • Building and engaging strong relationships with existing and potential clients or partners. Understanding their needs, identifying ways to add value, and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Identify opportunities for geographic expansion or diversification into new product or service offerings. Assessing market feasibility, developing market entry strategies, and executing plans for successful market expansion.

  • Monitoring the competitive landscape and analyzing competitors’ strategies, products, and pricing. Identifying the organization's unique value proposition and developing strategies to differentiate from competitors. Leveraging market intelligence to position the Company as a market leader and win new business.

  • Conducting financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, and budgeting, to assess the viability and profitability of new business opportunities. Developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior management for decisions.

  • Leading and managing a business development team, including direction alignment, coaching, and support. Setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

  • Working closely with internal departments as partners, including production, R&D, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives. Coordinating efforts to deliver high-quality solutions to clients or partners.
