About the Role

> Degree in a relevant field such as electronic engineering or a related subject + a minimum of 10 years related working experience such as electronic engineering or a related discipline.
> Sound experience product management is essential. A track record of successfully leading and delivering products throughout their lifecycle, from concept to launch. Candidates should have experience in developing product strategies, conducting market research, defining product requirements, and managing cross-functional teams.
> Proven strong team leadership and management skills are crucial. Candidates should have experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, setting clear goals, and managing performance. The ability to foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and inspire innovation is essential.
> Strategic capability and proven experience in developing product road maps, prioritizing initiatives, and making data-driven decisions to deliver products that meet business objectives.
> Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work with various stakeholders as partners. > Candidates should have experience in presenting complex ideas, influencing decision-makers, and building strong relationships with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
> Strong business and entrepreneurial flair: Experience in driving innovation, identifying new market opportunities, and launching successful products in a competitive landscape is valuable.

Requirements

  • Reporting to the senior management, the incumbent will be accountable for leading the product development process, driving product innovation, and ensuring the successful launch of high-quality products that meet customer needs and contribute to the organization's growth and profitability.

  • Formulating product strategy and action plans in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives, including defining product road maps and prioritizing product development initiatives.

  • Working closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and internal departments, to gather product requirements and define product specifications. Translating customer needs into detailed product features, functionality, and user experience requirements, and ensuring that the product meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Leading a team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other cross-functional team members. Providing coaching and support to the team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Setting clear goals, monitoring performance, so as to deliver high-quality products within defined timelines and budget.

  • Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle from ideas, launching to post-launching activities.

  • Monitoring the competitive landscape and analyzing competitor products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Leveraging this information to differentiate the organization's products and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the product development team. Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and innovation. Staying updated with the industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product development.
